My approach to photography is pretty simple: I'm not trying to make you into something you're not.
When I photograph your animals and the people who love them, my focus is on capturing the real moments that show the bond you have, their personality, and tell the story of why they matter so much to you.
Whether it's your horse who's been your partner for years, the dog who won't sit still, or capturing your whole crew together, I'm here to document it authentically.
I know schedules are complicated, animals have their own plans, and sometimes things don't go perfectly, and that's completely fine.
We'll roll with it and still get you photos you're excited to share.
I work with the light, the location, and whatever mood your animals and people are in that day.
The goal is always real moments over perfect poses, and making sure you actually enjoy the process.
Frequently asked questions
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
I travel within a 45-mile radius of the far west side of San Antonio with no additional charge. Beyond that, travel fees apply at $0.75 per mile. If you're outside the area and want to book, just reach out. I'm always open to discussing options.
What happens if my horse, dog, child, etc. won't cooperate?
Totally normal! I work with animals and kids all the time and know they have their own opinions about photos. I'll take the time needed to get good shots, but I can't guarantee perfect cooperation, that's just part of working with living beings. Session fees are non-refundable based on animal and tiny human cooperation, but I'll absolutely do my best to capture great images you love.
When will I receive my photos?
Fully edited images are delivered within 2-3 weeks via a private Pixieset gallery. If you would like a sneak peek sooner, just ask. I can usually get you 2-3 images within 3-5 days. You'll have 90 days to download your photos before the gallery expires.
Can I reschedule my session?
Yes! You get one free reschedule as long as you give me at least 48 hours notice. Weather-related reschedules don't count against that (because I'm not making you take photos in a thunderstorm). Your deposit is non-refundable, but we'll work together to find a new date that works.
What if my pets don't get along?
Friend, that is why we have photoshop. Kidding, but also, seriously. I have been stitching people, pets, you name it together in photoshop for over 10 years. It was my first love before photography! I offer this as an add on service of $15 per animal per photo. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to have the gang all together.
